One Service – Summer Kick-off
Are you ready for summer? July 2 is a big day!
Kick-off the summer schedule – 9:30 AM Worship & Sunday School.
- CUMC’s own Dixieland combo band, “SAINTS & SINNERS” will join us in worship and fellowship.
- Our youth work team will be leaving to work with SSP on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.
- Immediately following the service we will hold an All American BBQ – All are encouraged to stay, eat, meet new people, and listen to more of Saints and Sinners perform for us.

We will go to Goldenwest Diner (used to be Spires) at the corner of Goldenwest St. and Garden Grove Blvd. Solos is a senior fellowship group who likes to go out to lunch! We go once a month to various locations. We welcome newcomers! Please call Shirley LaBounta with any questions. 714-847-4354.

Mark your calendars for this fascinating story!
Our guest missionary speaker will be: Rev. Claudia Genung serving in Kobe, Japan. 
Claudia assists with the Tengokuya (Heaven’s Café) ministry to the community, which provides low-cost lunches and helps to meet the needs of the surrounding community. Residents are foreign migrant workers; people who are disabled; the elderly; single mothers; and the indigenous Buraku people, who are often shunned in Japan.

Messy Church is for families of all ages – an interactive exploratory time of fun and learning, singing and praise, followed with dinner together.
