Each Sunday throughout the school year 6th-12th graders gather for dinner, small groups, fun, and prayer from 5-7 pm. This time allows our dynamic and very busy youth to share in a non-judgemental atmosphere and get the support they need to deal with their complex lives. Social and spiritual growth is fostered by interaction with youth and their adult leaders.
Connect at the Cove:
Each Sunday all youth are invited to The Cove for fellowship, a devotional, and prayer during the Sunday Service at 9:30 am. Our devoted Youth teacher leads the group in conversation and sharing to understand and apply learning to their own life.
Support Our Youth:
Our youth are extremely involved in our community, and we love to support them as a church. We’ve found the more adults that interact with them outside of church, the more connected they will be. We encourage you to attend our students’ events in the community.
You can also support the youth through their ongoing fundraiser selling donuts on Sunday mornings. Catch them on the first Sunday of the month and you can also indulge in breakfast burritos. All proceeds go toward their mission projects.
Our Senior High Youth each summer have the opportunity to serve as a group on a mission trip with Sierra Service Project.
Many of our youth continue CUMC’s long tradition of going to camp at Lazy W Ranch.
