The All Church Retreat has ziplines to zip on and lakes to swim in and trails to hike on… but maybe, you don’t want to do those things?

Well then, you can come for the fellowship and the cooked meals or to be spiritually fed by our guest speaker!

Aizaiah Yong, a PhD student at Clairmont, will be helping us to be peacemakers by cultivating compassion towards oneself as a first step in building a more peaceful world. It will be interactive and hands-on. Look for the Family Life table to sign up for the All Church Retreat in the courtyard after service.

The Education Committee is again inviting you, your family, a group of friends, or your committee to join in the celebration of Easter by beginning to think about what Easter means to you. Put that thought into creating a diorama and sharing it with the congregation.

What is the big deal about Easter? You can be literal or abstract with your diorama. Or maybe you want to communicate an idea or a feeling. Remember this is about the process and a way to engage in your faith. There is no correct or wrong diorama. Be creative!

Bring your completed diorama to church beginning March 18. We will display them all on Sunday March 25 (Palm Sunday) and April 1 (Easter). Put your name on a 3×5 index card and, if you would like, a short explanation about your scene.

If you have any questions, please contact Marty at marty@cumchb.org  or 714 842-4461.
