Baptism

January 14 @ 4:00 on CUMC Campus

Baptism is something we do to show that we follow Jesus and it connects us in our faith community. It is the beginning of a life long faith journey with God.

Messy Church is Saturday, January 14th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Our theme is Baptism. We hope that you will join us for a fun night of many activities and dinner. During our Celebration we will be having a baptism. If you have been thinking about a baptism for someone in your family, please reach out and we would be happy to talk with you if this would be a good time for your family. Easter Egg Hunt – 10:00

We welcome you on Easter Sunday for an Easter Egg Hunt in Laird Park for children 5th grade and under. We will gather near the fountain on the courtyard immediately following the 9:00 AM service. The hunt will begin at 10:00 AM. Bring your Easter baskets to collect some candy filled eggs.

Messy Church – Epiphany

Do Not Be Afraid – Virtual Christmas Pageant

How will it work?

You will record your scene with your family or whoever says, “Yes! Let’s do it! This will be fun!” Nobody is too young or old.

What about costumes?

You can use what you have at home or borrow items from the church. No need to go out and buy anything.

When will the performance be?

All the recorded scenes will be put together and the pageant will air on our online services December 20^th.

VBC – Food Truck Party

$10 per child or $25 for a family of 3 or more

Ages 4yrs-5^th grade

Ready to cook up some fun? Cokesbury’s Food Truck Party VBC invites children of all ages to get on a roll with God as a parade of Food Trucks rolls into their neighborhood for the summer’s biggest party!

This VBC invites children to pray as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:11; “Give us this day our daily bread.” These words serve as a reminder that everything we have comes from God — and that it’s by turning to God in prayer that all of our daily needs are met.

At the center of the Food Truck Party is a special food truck called “On a Roll.” Here, Kids (or “Chefs”) will learn from the food truck’s Top Chef, along with DJ Cupcake (an adorable cupcake puppet), about the Daily Specials (Daily Learnings), which are lines from the well-loved prayer that teaches us to turn to God to meet our needs.
