Music Ministry Team Thankyou
With many choirs “Back2It,” rehearsing and preparing exciting new anthems for the fall, as well as music for the Advent and Christmas seasons, the Music Ministry Team and I would like to express our gratitude to those who have made special gifts to music ministries at CUMC. Your contributions assist us in purchasing a variety of music and providing special guest musicians for concerts and special music events. Thank you for helping us share the “good news” and express our collective love for God through this vitally important ministry at CUMC.

Music Program for All Ages
Community United Methodist Church is blessed with a diverse music program featuring ensembles for all ages including:
- The Chancel Choir
- Adult and Youth Handbells
- Celebration Singers
- Joyful Noise Choir
- The Cherub Choir
The music ministry offers a wide variety of musical styles from traditional choral classics and hymns to jazz, spirituals, gospel music, and contemporary praise music.
I would like to invite you to consider becoming a part of the music ministry at Community UMC. We have some of the most dedicated, committed, and friendly members you will find anywhere, and we want YOU to be a part of the Music Ministry Team. While you are not required to audition, we hope that prospective members will be able to carry a tune (lol) and have the ability to match pitches with fellow choristers. Highlights of this year’s music feast will include An Inter-denominational Thanksgiving Service, A Festival of Lessons and Carols by Jonathan Willcocks and The Seven Last Words of Christ by Theodore Dubois as well as a children’s Christmas pageant entitled, “The Case of the Reluctant Innkeeper.”
We invite you and/or your children to join any one of these fine ensembles.
