Home Community Kids
Community Kids is our joyful space where children from preschool through 5th grade are invited to explore faith, wonder, and belonging. Here, kids don’t just learn about God, they experience His presence through story, play, service, and community. All children are welcome exactly as they are in a safe, caring environment led by loving, background-checked adults and youth.
At the beginning of the 10:00 AM worship service, children come to the front of the the congregation for a time dedicated to their learning, growth, and joy. We believe children of all ages grow in faith when we worship together. Following the Children’s Discovery Time, children are escorted to Community Kids.
At 10:00 AM, children preschool through 5th grade begin worship with their families in the sanctuary. After Children’s Discovery Time, they are invited to join Community Kids teachers in the Community Kids Room for hands-on, age-appropriate activities that nurture faith and build a sense of belonging. Each story comes alive through creative, engaging experiences — from blessing webs and color experiments to birthday celebrations for the church — helping kids connect faith to their own lives in meaningful and memorable ways.
Our program also encourages children to serve their community through projects that nurture kindness, compassion, and belonging.
We are committed to creating a safe, joyful space where every child can grow, wonder, and discover God’s love. All Community Kids adult leaders are MinistrySafe trained and background-checked to ensure a safe and caring environment for every child.

On the first Sunday of each month, children return to the sanctuary to participate in Communion as a group. The United Methodist Church practices an open table, welcoming all people, regardless of age, background, or membership, to receive Holy Communion as a means of experiencing God’s grace.
We cherish our littlest ones by providing safe, nurturing, and joyful care while parents take part in worship. Babies and toddlers are welcomed in this well-equipped room directly adjacent to the sanctuary. You are welcome to keep you children with you in service, if you prefer.
Each Wednesday, families can receive an email with a video, discussion questions, and simple at-home activities based on the story that we’ll cover in Community Kids that week. This email serves as an introduction, stimulates conversation, and helps you know what’s going on in Sunday School when your kids gives you the vague “I don’t know what I did,” response when you pick them up.

Messy Church is an all-ages worship experience where families learn, play, and grow together. Join us on the second Saturday of each month.
