Concerts in the Courtyard presents: MenAlive!

Saturday, June 24

6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Courtyard

Composed of more than 130 members and a support team of 50 plus volunteers, MenAlive has grown into one of Orange County’s largest choruses as well as an active and respected partner in Southern California’s arts scene.

MenAlive’s shows are much more than just “choral performances.”  They are full productions that can combine song, dance, and theatrics to create shows of enormous popular appeal for all ages and backgrounds. The Chorus performs a wide range of musical styles including classical, jazz, gospel, traditional, contemporary, and popular.

Please bring your sweaters, your lawnchairs, snacks, and beverages and enjoy a wonderful early evening concert.

Bell Choir Men

Ever think of playing the bells, but weren’t quite ready to fully commit? Do you read a little music? Unlike the vocal choir, when a ringer is missing during rehearsal, it’s difficult to play cohesively. Our bell substitution list has been depleted and we’re looking for a few good volunteers to fill in as occasional substitutes for Wednesday night rehearsals. For rehearsal substitution, the ability to read some music is important. Ron Gagliano would be pleased to meet with you for a few simplistic ringing techniques, at times mutually convenient. We’d have a few practice sessions until you’re comfortable before you’d be asked to substitute.

You can email him at rongagliano@juno.com or call him at 714-840-0766.

Give it a try – it’s always fun, sometimes challenging, but always rewarding!

We need both men AND women!
