Sisters In Spirit

Tuesdays, starting September 2

9:30am to 11:30am

Room 8/9

Sisters in Spirit is a fellowship group, support group and a study group – all rolled into one!

This group is open to all women.

9:30 to 10:00 – Fellowship
10:00 to 11:00 Study
11:00 to 11:30 – Sharing of our joys, concerns and prayer

Our new study is a book and DVD study from Adam Hamilton entitled, When Christians Get It Wrong.

This book looks at how people who are outside the church view the ways Christians get it wrong and how we can strive to get it right. We will consider how returning to the core teachings of Jesus can make us more effective in helping to bring about spiritual transformation in our own lives and in the lives of others.

The study book is $10 and we will read it in class, no pre-reading required. You can purchase the book in the church office or at the first meeting. If you have questions about this group, just ask Suzanne in the church office: 714.842.4461 or email Suzanne@cumbhb.org

 Wednesday Evening Bible Study

We are studying the book of Romans using the Wesley Bible Series. This series provides a thoughtful and powerful survey of key Scriptures in Romans. It combines accessible commentary from contemporary teachers, with relevant quotes from John Wesley, along with poetry and hymns of Charles Wesley.

The study book is $10 and is available in the church office. Please read the Introduction and the first chapter before class.
