DESCRIPTION:Messy Church: Flood Channel Clean Up\nSaturday\, August 8 | 4:00-6:00 PM\n\nAugust is about doing service to our community. Putting our faith into action. The work is for all ages and everyone in the CUMC community is encouraged to attend. This month we will be cleaning one of our local flood channels to make sure trash and debris don’t make it into our ocean. Here’s a little bit more info about the event.\n\nWe’ll meet at the flood control gate just north of the intersection of Gothard Street and Warner Avenue. (Coordinates: 33.717402\, -118.000234) Parking will be available at the gate.\n\nRSVP here to attend and be counted for our pizza dinner. \nMessy Church offers a creative and welcoming way to gather\, connect\, and explore faith together. Rather than a traditional worship service\, this experience invites participants into an evening of hands-on activities\, shared stories\, joyful music\, and time around the table. Each gathering is designed to encourage curiosity\, conversation\, and meaningful connection in a relaxed\, family-friendly setting. \nAll are invited\, children\, adults\, and everyone in between\, no matter your background or faith journey.
