SUMMARY:Fair Trade Craft Market
DESCRIPTION:Fair Trade Shopping Event – Sunday\, October 25  \nJoin us for worship on Sunday\, October 25\, and take advantage of a special opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas shopping! We’re excited to welcome Fair Trade Long Beach Crafts\, who will be offering a beautiful selection of handmade crafts from around the world — and yes\, they accept credit cards. \nFair Trade Long Beach (FTLB) is a coalition of advocates\, activists\, and ethical businesses dedicated to increasing access to Fair Trade products throughout Long Beach and the surrounding communities. Fair Trade is a meaningful alternative to conventional trade\, built on a foundation of partnership between producers and consumers. \nBy purchasing Fair Trade products\, you help farmers and artisans receive fair prices and improved trading conditions\, empowering them to build better futures for themselves and their communities. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make a global impact through everyday shopping. \nCome support global artisans and shop with purpose! \nThis event is sponsored by our Missions Committee.

SUMMARY:Heifer Sundays
DESCRIPTION:October 25 thru November 8 \nGive a Gift That Keeps on Giving\nLooking for a meaningful Christmas gift this year? Our Mission Team will be selling Heifer International Animal Gift Cards after services. These special cards make wonderful gifts — and they also share an important message with those who receive them: that helping others is a vital part of our faith and community. \nWhen you give an animal through Heifer International\, you’re giving more than wool\, milk\, or eggs — you’re giving a family a fresh start. Each animal provides food\,  income\, and the opportunity for a sustainable livelihood. Families are able to afford medicine\, send their children to school\, and build a brighter future. \nThere’s something for everyone — from bees and flocks of chicks to shares of larger animals.  \nStop by the Mission Team’s table after worship to learn more and choose a gift that helps families around the world thrive this Christmas season! \nFor more information on Heifer International please visit their website.
