Welcome to
the CUMC HB Nursery School
Please click on the links to the left to learn much more about our
programs, schedules and fees; or scroll down to view all features.
We've created a caring,
nurturing atmosphere in which children interact with experienced
teachers and other children to enhance social and educational skills
as preparation for future classroom learning.

CUMC Nursery School (CUMCNS)
offers a safe environment where your child can discover, explore,
problem-solve and create. Our teachers use a developmental
curriculum; we believe a child learns through play with hands-on
activities. Children begin to understand the world around them
through interaction with peers and adults, enhancing the child's
self-esteem through successful experiences and acceptance. Each
class attends chapel monthly.
We endeavor to meet each child's individual needs with
a nurturing atmosphere that emphasizes their own personal
development. A variety of
age-appropriate activities, materials, and equipment will be
provided. Your child will be encouraged to participate in different
experiences during the session through creative art, science,
stories, large and fine motor manipulatives, dramatic play, cooking
and nutrition, and language and music.
Opportunities
throughout the year for parent participation include parent
workshops, special family visiting days, parent/teacher conferences
and conferences and gatherings in the sanctuary.
