Rev. Lynn Munson has served in ministry in the United Methodist church since 1993.  She began as a lay pastor at Good Shepherd UMC, in the area of Nurture Ministries, doing visitation, leading retreats, with a focus on Christian Education.  In 1997, Lynn founded a Church-based Campus Ministry with the encouragement of Revs. Doug & Cindy Williams, with UCI as the main campus.  Ordained a Probationary Member in 2001, Lynn went to Garden Grove UMC, with the Modern Worship service as her central duty, but working alongside the senior pastor in all areas of pastoral ministry.  At Garden Grove, Youth and Young adult leadership was encouraged by Lynn as a key to church growth and thriving as a healthy church.  Lynn then went to Orangethorpe UMC as senior pastor, with a strong Modern Worship and youth and young adult focus..  Having always felt God's call to do "unique" forms of ministry, Lynn now serves as Senior Pastor at Good Shepherd UMC and as Youth Pastor for both Good Shepherd and Community UMC.  Youth ministry has always been a strong passion for Lynn!

Lynn is a single parent of three children, Josh, Rebekah, and Rachel, born in 1986, 1990, and 1991, respectively.  She lives in Fountain Valley, is an avid sports fan, lover of music, especially live music, a passionate cyclist and enjoys nature, reading and writing.
