Kirby, Director of Music
 Greg
Kirby became the full-time director of music on July 1 of 2001.
Greg had served CUMC part-time for several years prior; first as
choir accompanist; then as organist and choir director; then
adding bell choir and youth choir direction. Now as the Director
of Music, he coordinates all of our music, and personally leads
five different choirs.
Greg holds the first BA in Church Music to be granted by Concordia
University in Irvine. Greg is currently a member of the American
Guild of Organists, Chorister's Guild, and The Choral Conductor's
Guild of Orange County. In the spring of 2005, Greg has been asked
to be the guest conductor for the Orange County Chorister's Guild
Children's Choir Festival. Greg has also been a singer of a number
of years with the Pacific Chorale and The Corona Del Mar Baroque
Festival. Along with his church work, Greg continues to be a stage
manager in Guest Talent Programs, Magic Music Days, at the
Disneyland Resort. Greg is a lifelong United Methodist,
attending Aldersgate UMC in Tustin.
